The colorful Happy O collection of stemless wine glasses is Riedel's latest take on the company's popular O tumblers. Each of the four stemless glasses in the set features a different colored base: red, yellow, green, and blue. The Riedel O Viognier & Chardonnay glass is used and when filled with white wine, the color of each glass visually diffuses into the liquid. The Happy O glasses are a perfect way to brighten up your glassware collection and have a little fun while doing it.

The stemless "O" design is based on the benchmark shapes of Riedel Vinum. The design parameters including shape of tumbler, size and diameter of rim, were finely tuned to enhance the world's most important grape varietals. "O" is available as: Cabernet/Merlot, Pinot/Nebbiolo, Syrah/Shiraz, Chardonnay, Viognier/Chardonnay, Riesling/Sauvignon.
Stemless glassware came about when Maximilian Riedel, the C.E.O. of Riedel Crystal of America, realized he didn't have enough room for his wineglasses when moving into a new house and started thinking about what is taking up the space. It was the stem. He then sent drawings to Austria, where they tasted wine in the glasses and made a few adjustments.
